Well today is as the title suggests, weird. Both mommy and daddy had to go take care of some things out and about today so that in itself was a bit weird. Then add to that your Gigi and Pappaw showing up at almost the same time to spend the day with you. Then put on top of that the fact that your POD was closed for about 3 hours today so those people inside had to hang out and those people outside had to wait. Then lets talk about your numbers..... or lets not because we have been all day long already. Oh yeah, and we still don't know about the surgeons and when they plan to help out with your little heart.
So all of that out there, I am sorry but this one will be brief. Your daddy is pretty exhausted tonight and even more than that my brain feels a bit fried from lack of sleep and some excess stress. But don't worry, there is NO way that you have anything to do with either of those little guy. :)
Today started and is ending in much the same way, with mommy and daddy standing over your bed talking softly to you and rubbing your active little hands. At five this morning you needed some alone time with daddy's voice and that calmed you down and then again at eleven this evening you appeared to need some of the same thing so you could calm down. Good news for you is daddy has plenty of that to give and is always happy to have some alone time with his little buddy.
Now that isn't to say that you always like your alone time with daddy. We had some of that this afternoon, or was it evening, and you were not very happy about that at all. As a matter of fact you managed to communicate that in a variety of ways. You made your heart rate go up, you made your oxygen numbers go down, you scrunched up your face, and then....
Thanks son, always appreciate a very clear message. You must be related to your great grandfather Paul Logsdon after all.
I hope you are getting some good rest now (or at least soon if you will just close your little eyes) and hopefully we will have a better day tomorrow.

I am also going to add weird night to this title. As your daddy said Mommy and he were exhausted last night, so Grandma decided to stay next to your bassinet to keep you company while they got a little rest. You really like to set off those alarms don't you. You did pretty good until 4:30 but after that not so much. Finally at 6 am they decided it was best to give you some sleepy medicine. Well Hoot as Gigi calls you, I'll stay up with you anytime. You're awfully cute.
